Cymbopogon… The Grass Known as Lemongrass
Of the 50 types of grasses, Cymbopogon, or Lemongrass as it is better known, offers a food source, a medicinal value, and a hint of beauty with its long silky leaves that tower over the ground. It originated in Asian and African countries, but eventually made its way to America. Recently I bought some Lemongrass from our local Paris ACE store.
